An attempt to write about a dear friend. It is lyrical prose about the color blue, minor details of life, and fantasy. Blue becomes an element that holds tenderness and brutality in the same picture, emerging from memories and political realities, illness, desire, and violence. Fragmented scenes explore care, vulnerability, and the persistence of love and political thought. Controversies of being present in this specific moment in time and history are explored as you love and observe blue hues across the borders of existence.

Georgia Diakou is a writer from Greece. She was born and raised in a small town. She currently lives in Athens. She studied History, Archaeology, and Directing at the Theater Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has published four books, the latest of which, titled My Sweet Dinosaur, is published by Plithos Publications.
