Wyeth— is an ekphrastic series of poems written in response to paintings by Andrew Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth. The poems were written in the landscapes where the Wyeths live(d) and paint(ed) in Pennsylvania and Maine. This series is as much a thinking-through of the landscapes as it is a response to the paintings themselves, as well as a consideration of how the reception of the Wyeths’ work has evolved.
