Sewing Riverword, Franck-Lee Alli-Tis

October, 2027

Sewing Riverword by Franck-Lee Alli-Tis aka V Stylianidou explores inquiries about violence, memory, noise and the sounds of words. The liberating violence and tenderness of practices such as distortion, distraction, dispersion, and refraction are put to the test.

Franck-Lee Alli-Tis aka V Stylianidou (they/he) works across a variety of media, including, video, poetry, sound/music, language, sculpture and performance. In 2019 they initiated and co-founded WordMord, a transdisciplinary artistic process, which investigates the complex entanglements of language, the body and technology with violence – but also with pleasure and sexuality. Their texts have been published texts in exhibition catalogues and journals that bring together art and writing (such as [φρμκ], a glimpse of, brossura, antiphony). https://stylianidou.com/home.html
