Emotion Froth: a letter to Koralia
-Say Viet
-Nam
-Say both
-They don’t fit in my mouth
-Take a pill
-We’ll vomit together
A cyclical reef meets my trial self
Phenomenal agility for sth so obstructive
Swallow the medicine
As if saliva isn’t the archetype
Hush, real room
Α loop around the neck
Given language given name
a daughter’s birthday
In what tongue a sleeping stone
In what tongue lies a sleeping lover
Suicidal daughter
in the quest of her meanings
her dismembered syllables
her internal syntactical bleeding
Rebellious party of emotions on the back of my mouth
Ready to spill on the sidewalk
Negation accumulates
Vomit confetti
Practising sensual techniques of
emptying
cold cement as a pop up gallery
for my emotion froth
many sleeping daughters, we vomit together
finger or toothbrush so help
full when tongue alone can't
help
- Say no
- No body
-Well done
Note: We include in our text Εξίσωση (Exisosi), a poem by Κοραλία Ανδρειάδη Θεοτοκά (Koralia Andreiadi Theotoka).
